Laura Sass Meincke, DDS
Meet Dr. Laura Meincke, an accredited SPEAR dentist and lifelong learner dedicated to providing quality, comprehensive dental care to patients in Wilton, Iowa, and surrounding areas. Dr. Meincke completed her undergraduate studies at Saint Ambrose University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, and a minor in chemistry. She graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2015 and has since completed continuing education courses and training in various treatments, including dental implants, which she will finish later this summer. Dr. Meincke is passionate about incorporating advanced technologies into her practice, including cone beam imaging, CEREC same-day dentistry, clear aligner treatment, and digital scanning, to better serve her patients. She is a member of the American Dental Association® and the Iowa Dental Association. Before purchasing her hometown practice, Wilton Dental, in 2019, Dr. Meincke gained valuable experience practicing dentistry in a community health center, a small practice, and a corporate setting. She is proud to have returned to her roots to serve her community and provide compassionate care to patients of all ages. Outside of the office, Dr. Meincke enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She and her husband, Kurt, have two children, Charlotte and Leo. Dr. Meincke’s parents and siblings reside in Wilton and nearby areas, and she can often be found visiting her extended family and cheering on nieces and nephews at their sporting events.
Darin Hartvigsen, DDSDr. Darin Hartvigsen attended the University of Utah for his undergraduate studies before attending the Marquette University School of Dentistry, from which he graduated in 1997. Continuing education is one of his constant and consistent pursuits, and he completed a residency at the University of Utah Hospital to earn his Advanced Education in General Dentistry certification. He is also a graduate of Whitecap Institute for dental implantology. He is licensed to practice in both Utah and Iowa, and has practiced in the Wilton area since the beginning of 2022.
Dr. Hartvigsen’s goal is to provide great treatments that will help you achieve a healthy, beautiful and confident smile. You can count on him and on our team to talk with you about your needs, present you with all options and provide you with great, comfortable care.
Dr. Hartvigsen and his beautiful wife, Janelle, have been married since 1993 and have five children, two grandchildren and two big dogs. Outside the office, Dr. Hartvigsen enjoys golf, guitars, writing, hot wheels and spending time with his family.

Kurt
OFFICE MANAGER
Kurt is our office manager who works hard behind the scenes to ensure our office runs smoothly every day. He is a graduate of the Wyoming Technical Institute, where he studied automotive technology. After graduation, Kurt worked as an automotive technician for 24 years before joining our team in 2019. Even though he did not start a career in dentistry, Kurt enjoys being part of the decision-making process to grow Wilton Dental in a positive direction and keep it family-friendly and small-town oriented.
Kurt is married to Dr. Laura Meincke, with whom he has two beautiful children. His hobbies include hunting, bowling and cooking on the grill.
SuzanneFRONT OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Suzanne joined our team in July 2021, and enjoys being part of a dental family where she is treated as an individual. She loves being the first and last smile our patients encounter when they visit our office for their treatments. Suzanne and her husband, Dustin, have two children, Hannah and Bailey, as well as two dogs. Outside the office she enjoys camping and being a softball mom.
